After the taste, the most common question about bee bread is how much to take. Here is the dosage for Perga Glow pastilles, straight from the pack.
Adults: 1–3 pastilles a day
One pastille weighs about 5 g, so 1–3 pastilles is 5–15 g a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Children from 1 year: start with half
Children from 1 year can start with half a pastille a day and later have a whole one. Do not give bee bread to children under 1 year.
What time of day?
We recommend taking the pastille in the first half of the day, apart from meals. Let it melt in your mouth or chew it. You can also crumble it into porridge, a smoothie or a pie.
If bee bread is new to you
Take half a pastille for the first few days and choose apple-cinnamon, the mildest flavor. Then move up to one pastille a day, and to two or three if you like.
How long does a pack last?
The 15-pastille starter pack lasts 5–15 days and the 30-pastille bag 10–30 days. The 3-month ritual has 90 pastilles, which last 1–3 months, and the 180 pastilles in the 6-month ritual last 2–6 months.
Good to know
Bee bread is not suitable if you are allergic to bee products or pollen. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, check with your doctor first. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Want to try it? The 15-pastille starter pack covers the first weeks.
