What do the figures mean?
Three pastilles provide 29% of the daily reference intake of manganese, so bee bread is a natural source of manganese. It is also a natural source of protein: just under a third of the energy in the pastilles comes from protein.
The amounts of calcium, iron, magnesium and niacin are smaller, because a daily amount is only 5–15 g.
Ingredients
Perga (bee bread), blackcurrant, apple, cinnamon and sea buckthorn. The berry and fruit powder and the cinnamon together weigh only about 0.2 g per pastille, so almost the whole pastille is bee bread.
What is bee bread good for?
It's a common question. In the EU, only health claims approved by the authorities may be used, so we don't promise any health effects. What we can tell you is what bee bread contains, as in the table above, and how it tastes and is used.
Good to know: bee bread is not suitable if you are allergic to bee products or pollen.
